So, it’s that time again to surf our awesome little circle of photographers to see what everyone came up with for this weeks theme…and this week it’s BOOKS; a theme near and dear to my heart. I love books… love, love LOVE ‘em and don’t know what I’d do without them. No kindle will ever replace that visceral need I have to actually hold a book and flip through the pages. Books are beautiful.. I absolutely adore walking up and down the aisles at Chapters just to see what new awesome cover designs I can find. I’ve bought numerous books just because I thought they were beautiful…
Now, some of you may not know this, but I work in a library three days a week. There’s something about a library that is so comforting to me.. the smell of the books.. the quiet, muffled sounds.. the BOOKS… it’s a way for me to step away from the editing and all of the stress and pressures of running a business. Time to decompress and just be silent for a while…
The library I work in is a small humble library located in a facility for young people in conflict with the law. Because of this I can’t really show much in the way of images –but I thought I’d give you a tiny little peak … ♥

lol, Jayme, our library is ANCIENT. We finally have a computer.. but the card catalogs are going to stay right where they are

A card catalog? I love seeing this. I am a teacher and my students have no idea what this is…so sad! The pp on these is awesome. You rocked this weeks theme!
